Tyler, my salesman, handled things absolutely beautifully. Especially considering the COVID-19 situation. Truly a no hassle, no pressure, honest experience. He was properly educated on the vehicle I purchased, the vehicle I traded in, and was able to simplify and and get through the experience without any difficulty. Champion was a perfect example of what I feel a automotive dealer should be these days, honest, comfortable, courteous, etc. It was apparent that the employees at Champion were all happy, confidant in their jobs and areas of expertise, and were all genuinely kind and a pleasure to speak with. I am looking forward to using the service department and suspect they'll be as great as the sales team is.
I dropped my truck off at Champion on July 20th with an appointment time of 9:00 a.m. I received a call at 9:08 stating that my cabin filter was full of debris and need to be changed. I asked how much that filter would be. The price stated was $32.95. I thought for a second and agreed. When I showed up to pick my truck up, I had TWO charges for $32.95. I questioned the cashier as to why I had two charges. She stated that they changed TWO filters, cabin filter and engine filter. I stated that I did NOT agree to the second filter. What could I do? The filters were already on the truck. I was frustrated and aggravated that I was told about one filter and agreed to the $32.95, but was charged over $60 instead. I gave 3 stars because it was done quickly and all other aspects went smoothly. I trust that Terry Cunningham has my best interest at heart. (He is not the one that called to ask about putting the filter on.) In the time of COVID, customers don't have money to throw around. I know it's possible that $32.95 doesn't seem like a lot to bicker about, but if I can't get a simple oil change without getting charged for services I didn't approve, what should I expect if I ever bring my truck in for any other type of service?
Service manager (Terry I think) that I meet with was very friendly. Wait time was not very long and was happy to see the person wearing a mask, gloves, and covered the gear shifter. Couldnt beat the price of service either. Cashier was super friendly and nice as well.
Service tech Terry was very friendly and personable. Was able to get the vehicle in Tuesday afternoon by rollback and it was repaired on Wednesday. Very quick turnaround. My wife was very appreciative. Thank you.
I took my truck in for a diagnosis and repair. A part was replaced and I paid $300.00 for that part and labor. The problem was not fixed and I took my truck back. It has been there for 3 days and I have not been told anything about the status except that they were not able to get to it on the day I was told to bring it in but they planned to get it in and begin troubleshooting the following day.
